Daniel Markel is the Testing and Verification & Validation Manager of DAMORPHE.

He has over 35 years of engineering experience in the oil industry including 28 years with Schlumberger in areas of specialization including industry-leading perforating tools, wireline accessories, shaped-charge design and dissolvable frac plugs. He has 13 patents for innovations in the oil industry and is a Six Sigma Green Belt.

Daniel received his Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from West Virginia University and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston. He published several papers for the Society of Petroleum Engineers and various oilfield journals.
