Gustavo Grullon is a committed Independent Director of HFRAC Technologies (an independent affiliate of DAMORPHE).
Grullon is the Jesse H. Jones Professor of Finance at the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. He has been a faculty member at the Jones School since 1998. He currently teaches a course on mergers and acquisitions and a course on corporate financial policy in the MBA program and a corporate finance course in the Ph.D. program.
Grullon received his B.B.A. in finance and economics from the University of Puerto Rico in 1991 and his Ph.D. in finance from Cornell University in 1998.
Grullon is an expert in several areas of corporate finance, including corporate investment, corporate financing, payout policy, business valuation, real options valuation, and mergers and acquisitions. He has provided consulting services to several Fortune 500 companies. His research has been published in several top-finance journals and featured in the Financial Times, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Wall Street Journal.
Grullon received the Jones School’s Award for Excellence in Research in 2006 and 2017, and the Jones School’s Award for Teaching Excellence in 2017
