Ting Chen Roy
Ting Chen Roy is the President & Chief Executive Officer and an Executive Director of DAMORPHE, its affiliates and its SBUs.
Roy is a former Research Affiliate, Department of Mechanical Engineering, MIT. She has over 50 publications, patents, proceedings, and conference presentations, including invited talks at NACE, TMS and ACS. Young scientist awards from NACE and TMS. She has been a program organizer and session chair for TMS annual conferences, OTC and has been a long standing TMS subcommittee member for OTC.
Roy holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering. She has led NETL – Baker Hughes joint project in Celle, Germany, to improve fatigue life of drill collars by surface SPD and investigated methods to mitigate corrosion fatigue related failures.
Roy harbors interest in corrosion of nanomaterials, technology development and improving operations to augment throughput of industrial processes.
